Step-by-Step: Your First Patient Visit
Welcome to Smiley Dental, your trusted dental practice in Boston, MA. Our dentists, team, and state-of-the-art offices will put you at ease from the moment you arrive. At your first appointment, a member of our team will greet you warmly. Then, we’ll review your new patient documents, answer any questions you may have, and walk you through our new patient exam process. If you would like, we can take you on a tour of the office. We’ll proceed by capturing diagnostic images, and the doctor will introduce themself and visually evaluate your smile and carefully clean your teeth, and finally, the dentist will walk through any areas for concern and possible treatment options. We want you to feel like an active participant in all of your oral health care choices.
New Patient Forms
Before your appointment, we invite you to complete new patient forms online. You will receive a text with the link to complete your forms after you book your appointment. These documents allow us to offer you personalized treatments from your very first visit. If you have questions while completing these forms, we invite you to contact our team. We’ll be happy to help you complete your documentation.
Smiley Dental - Membership Plan
Smiley Dental’s in-house membership plan makes quality dental care simple and affordable for patients without insurance. For one annual fee, you receive your routine cleanings, exams, and X-rays, plus discounted rates on a wide range of treatments—including fillings, crowns, dentures, extractions, and cosmetic services. There are no deductibles, waiting periods, claim forms, or annual maximums; everything is managed directly through our office for a stress-free experience. If you're interested in joining, our team can help you enroll and start saving right away.
Financing Options Available
We want to make sure dentistry services are affordable for all of our patients. We accept MassHea and we will take payment in the form of cash, check, and major credit card for out of pocket expenses at the time of service. For those patients who are unable to cover the out of pocket costs of care, we’re happy to work with CareCredit. This is a third party medical and dental financier that offers qualifying patients affordable low and no interest payment plans.
